• The Hawks are looking to get their first Conference Carolinas win of the 2025 season following a 52-20 loss to #22 UNC Pembroke last time out. 
• Shorter has one win on the year in a non-conference match-up earlier in the season, and the team is now looking to break its three-game losing streak. 
• The offense is looking to build this week against the Fleet, after rushing for an impressive 342 yards against the top-rated Pembroke's defense.
