ROME, Ga.- The Shorter men's lacrosse team returned to the friendly confines of Ben Brady Field and hosted
Flagler College on Saturday at noon. The Hawks played a strong first quarter, but Flagler pulled away in the remainder of the game to take down the Hawks 17-7.
Shorter's
Jaden Sealey led the Hawks with three goals, while teammate
Earl Marshall finished right behind him with two.
Alexander Hudgins and
Gunnar Uutinen also got on the scoresheet with a goal each. Marshall, Hudgins, Uutinen and
Kaleb Roehn each added an assist on the day.
As for the visiting Saints (2-10, 2-0), Geraint Shaw led Flagler with five goals on the day. Teammates Drew Flagg and Ty Tom tied for second in scoring on the team with two apiece. Flagg led Flagler in assists with four, while Shaw and Dylan Wilson recorded two more each.
The Hawks (3-10, 0-2) will get a week off before playing their second straight home game against the University of Montevallo next Saturday at 1 pm.
