ROME, Ga. – The Shorter men's lacrosse team played their final home game of the season on Friday afternoon, as they hosted the
University of Montevallo. The Falcons ended up defeating the Hawks 28-8.
Shorter's
Kaleb Roehn,
Gunnar Uutinen and
Jaden Sealey led the Hawks in scoring with two goals apiece on the day.
Alexander Hudgins and
Ethan Kavanaugh added one each as well. Roehn, Sealey, Uutinen, Kavanaugh and
Earl Marshall each recorded an assist.
As for the visitors, Trevayne Hunter and Thomas Vaesen tied for first on Montevallo (6-7, 1-2) in scoring and assists with four goals and three assists each. Griffin Brennan added three goals also.
Shorter (3-11, 0-3) will play their next game on the road at Lander University next Saturday at 4 p.m.
