ELKINS, W.Va.- The Shorter men's lacrosse team got back in the win column on Saturday afternoon, as the visiting Hawks defeated Davis & Elkins College 11-9.
 
Shorter's Alexander Hudgins and Jaden Sealey led the Hawks (2-8) with three goals apiece, while teammates Kaleb Roehn and Gunnar Uutinen finished right behind them with two each. Earl Marshall added a goal as well. 
 
Uutinen led Shorter with two assists, while Marshall, Hudgins and Sealey added an assist apiece as well. Travis Scala led the Senators (1-5) with three goals, and Austin Derx added two more. Teammate Zach Lontayao accounted for two assists on the day.
 
Shorter's next game will be played at Point University on Thursday at 5 p.m.
