MURFREESBORO, N.C.- After a nice break, the Shorter men's lacrosse team was back in action on Wednesday afternoon as they faced off against 
Chowan University (3-3) in Murfreesboro, N.C. The Hawks found themselves outmatched on the afternoon, as they dropped the game 29-9. 
 
Five different Hawks found the back of the net in the game – 
Earl Marshall (3), 
Alexander Hudgins (2), 
Jaden Sealey (2), 
Kaleb Roehn (1) and 
Ethan Kavanaugh (1). Roehn, Kavanaugh and 
Gunnar Uutinen also added an assist apiece. Chowan's Jaxon Martin recorded a game-high ten goals, and teammate Erik Dozzi had six assists. 
 
Shorter's next game will be this Saturday at 4 p.m., as the Hawks (1-7) will pay a visit to Point University to take on the Skyhawks.
