PENSACOLA, Fla.- The Lady Hawks traveled to Pensacola for a matchup with the Lady Argonauts of West Florida. After an explosive first quarter for the Lady Argonauts, the Lady Hawks were unable to come back losing 69-47.

The Lady Argonauts started the game on a 7-0 run and did not surrender the lead for the rest of the game. Jasmine Gaines led the team with 14 points and five rebounds, followed by Tiara Lewis who scored 13 points and pulled down five rebounds. Ansley Barge led the Lady Hawks with six rebounds. The Lady Hawks scored nine fast break points compared to the Argos five points. Shorter also scored 18 points in the paint and 13 points off of turnovers. The Lady Hawks shot 50% from the free throw line.

The Lady Hawks will be back on the road to Valdosta for a matchup with the Lady Blazers on Saturday February 19^th, tip-off is scheduled for 2 PM.
