Hawks Drop Heartbreaker to Badgers

 

The Shorter Hawks Men's Soccer team fell 4-0 in a heartbreaking matchup to the Badgers of Spring Hill College Friday at Ben Brady Field.

 

Both sides played back and forth for the majority of the first half, as the Hawks had a scoring chance from Davide Maiello but could not convert. The missed opportunity would come back to haunt the Hawks as the Badgers struck four goals in the second half to end the contest.

 

The Shorter Hawks will return to action Sunday, Oct. 9, when they host the No.3 University of West Florida Argonauts at Ben Brady Field.
