The Shorter Hawks Men's Soccer team fell 5-1 in a competitive matchup Sunday at Ben Brady Field.
In a heated competitive match between the two squads, The Hawks fell behind early, with the Argonauts striking two goals in the opening minutes of regulation. The Hawks later answered back with a goal from Mattia Maiello to go into halftime trailing by one. The Hawks continued to play hard in the second half, but the Argonauts tallied three more insurance goals to end the match.
The Shorter Hawks will travel to Auburn University at Montgomery to take on the Warhawks Friday, Oct. 14.
