The Shorter Hawks Men's Soccer team fell in a heartbreaking 3-1 road loss to the Warhawks of Auburn University at Montgomery Friday. 

 The Hawks started out strong in the first 45 minutes of regulation by keeping the Warhawks off the board in the first half. The Hawks opened up scoring in the second half with a goal from Emmanuel Alerte, assisted by Charles Garcia, to take a 1-0 lead. The Warhawks answered back, sneaking in three insurance goals to seal the contest. 

The Hawks will return to action on Friday, Oct. 21, when they host the Chargers of the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
