Hawks Hang Tough Versus Chargers in Conference Road Matchup

 

The Shorter Hawks Men's Soccer team played the UAH Chargers to a 1-1 draw Friday on the road. 

 

The Hawks and the Chargers played back and forth in the first 45 minutes of regulation. The Chargers came out in the second half, striking a goal in the 58th minute to take a 1-0 lead. The Hawks answered back minutes later with a goal from Charles Garcia, assisted by Emmanuel Alerte, to end the match tied. 

 

The Hawks will return to action on Sunday, October 23, when they host the University of West Alabama Tigers for senior day at Ben Brady Field.
