Rome, Ga.- It was Senior Day for the Lady Hawks who honored,
Jordan Cannon,
Kayla Hartmann and
Danielle Forsythe before the start of the game. Sadly, Shorter was unable to get their offense going and lost to Lee five to nothing.
The Lady Flames scored their first goal in the sixth minute and never looked back. The Lady Flames went into halftime with a three to nothing lead. Lee's fourth goal came via penalty kick in the 64
th minute. Lee's final goal was scored in the 90
th minute of the game.
Lee had 29 shots in the game and 20 of them were on goal, while Shorter had four shots and one of them was on goal. Forward
Juliana Torres led the team with three shots and midfielder
Erin Carter recorded Shorter's only shot on goal. Goalkeeper
Emily Lopez recorded 15 saves.Â
The Lady Hawks will play their final game of the season on the road against Valdosta State March 12
th at 3pm.
