ROME, Ga. – The Shorter Hawks men's lacrosse team (2-5) fell 15-6 to the University of Montevallo Falcons (4-4) on Friday evening at Ben Brady Field.

Three Hawks scored on the day, including William Millwood who scored three times, Kaleb Roehn who scored twice and Trey Edge who scored once.

Kaleb Roehn scored the first two goals of the game to give the Hawks an early 2-0 advantage. Roehn was assisted by Trey Edge with both goals. The Falcons answered back with five goals in the first quarter, including two from Trevayne Hunter and one each from Connor Frederick, Ryan Shea and Thomas Vaesen.

The Hawks did not score in the second quarter while Montevallo scored four more times to make the score 9-2 Montevallo at the half.

William Millwood scored the only goal in the third quarter for Shorter. He was assisted by Jimmie Kemp III. Montevallo scored six more goals in the third quarter.

The Hawks were in control of the fourth quarter and scored three more goals, including two from William Millwood and one from Trey Edge, while the Falcons did not score any goals in the game.

The Hawks return to action against Lander University on Saturday, March 27 at Lander with the game slated to start at 5:30 p.m.
