ROME, Ga. – The Lady Hawks (14-6) fell to the No. 13 University of West Florida Lady Argonauts (22-1) 3-0 on Saturday afternoon at home in a Gulf South Conference (GSC) matchup.
The Lady Argonauts defeated the Lady Hawks 25-14 in the first set, 25-14 in the second set and 25-20 in the third set.
Annie Veldhuis had seven kills for Shorter.
Taryn Cycholl had eight assists and
Annie Smith had seven.
Madison Sprosty added in five digs.
As a team, the Lady Hawks had 21 kills, three aces, seven blocks, 20 assists and 19 digs.
West Florida overall had 43 kills, three aces, six blocks, 40 assists and 37 digs.
