Clinton, MS- The Lady Hawks were back on the road tonight for their second game of the 2020 year against Mississippi College.
The Hawks faced tough GSC competition once again falling to the Choctaws 70-78. Starting the first quarter out a little slower the Hawks scored 9 points to the Choctaws 18, but the rest of the game saw major improvement leading the second and fourth quarters.

MeKala Fuller and
Christian Bolden led the team in points. Gaines played all 40 minutes of the game scoring 21 points, 2 assists and 7 rebounds. While Fuller put up 16 points and three rebounds, Bolden had 10 points for the Hawks.
The Hawks had the score tied 4 times throughout the game and there were 8 lead changes today. There were 19 points off of Choctaw turnovers and 15 fast-break points to contribute to this fast-paced back and forth game.
