2019 GSC Football Preseason

Rome, GA- Shorter Hawks, Junior Defensive Back Nehemiah Reddish has been named to the 2019 Preseason All-Gulf South Conference Team.

Reddish (Rome, GA) appeared in 8 games in 2018 and was ranked first with 70 total tackles.

The Preseason Poll and Top Newcomer List were also released with the Hawks being predicted to finish 9^th after a vote by the GSC Head Coaches. Teams received 8 points for a first-place vote, 7 for second-place vote, etc. The Head Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own teams.

Four incoming Hawks were named to the GSC Top Newcomers List, all four of them were freshman. Aeneas Dennis (Marietta, GA), Bryce Spradling (Tucker, GA), Caleb Thomas (Warner Robins, GA), and Drew Tossie (Monroe, GA).
