Hawks Fly Past Wildcats

ROME, Ga. – The Shorter Men's Basketball team started out strong and stayed strong throughout the whole game against Fort Valley State University at home on Wednesday evening. The Hawks won 73-54 against the visiting Wildcats.
 
With the win the Hawks improve to 3-6 on the season and the Wildcats fall to 3-7.
 
To start the game Frenki Lilaj made a layup to get the first points on the board. The Hawks were able to control the lead throughout the entire 40 minutes of play.
Team Statistics for Shorter include 17 points from turnovers, 34 bench points and 17 fast break points. Leaders for Shorter include Ja'Cori Wilson with a game high of 24 points, nine rebounds and one block. Bryan Polanco added in 16 points and six rebounds, one block and one steal.

Up Next
Shorter will dive back into conference play on Monday, December 16th against West Alabama with a double header with the Woman's game at 5:30pm and Men's tip off at 7:30 pm.
