Rome, Ga. – Monday night the Shorter Hawks (3-8, 0-2) played the University of West Alabama Tigers (8-2,2-1). In this early week match up the Tigers had the edge on the Hawks early. There were four lead changes and four times when the score was tied. But coming out of the first half the score was 28-46 Tigers.
Ja'Cori Wilson lead the team in points with a total of 16 points throughout the game. Wilson also had three rebounds and went 3-3 on three-point shots. Senior
Bryan Polanco led the Hawks in rebounds (6) as well as being the second-leading scorer at 11 points for the game.
Keeving Etienne hit 1-1 three-point shots and 5-8 field goal attempts, with five rebounds. The Hawks had five points off turnovers and thirteen fast break points. The Hawks are at home one more time for 2019, Saturday, December 21
