Box Score Rome Ga - The Hawks men's soccer team conceded goals in the 15th and 87th minute of play as Mississippi (5-1-3) won 2-0 over Shorter in a Sunday afternoon GSC matchup.  
 
Antoine Recizac put the visitors up 1-0 15 minutes into the match as both defenses limited their opponent to just 3 shots.  It was MC's only shot  on goal in the first half.  
 
Shorter's best chance to equalize came with 17 minutes to play but the Choctaw goalkeeper stifled a 2 on 1 breakaway. 
 
The Hawks (4-4-1) were caught short handed pushing forward late as MC's Bruno Cantoni goal in the 87th minute resulted in the 2-0 final. 
 
MC's Alejandro Chavarria had 4 saves to the Hawks Matthew Shorrocks 3. 
 
The Hawks travel to Mobile this week for an afternoon bout with Spring Hill College on Thursday.
