The Hawks come back in the bottom of the inning to tie things up, on a sacrifice fly from Micah Wyatt; bringing in Maddela. Before the Lions countered with a run in the third to regain the lead.

Emmanuel then tied the game in the seventh with a pair of runs and took the lead 5-4 in the eight on a RBI double. Again, the Hawks rallied, tying the game 5-5 when Jesse Wheeler stole third and came in to score on a throwing error by the catcher.

En route to the win, Butterworth led off the ninth with a single, and after a pop out from Santos, Maddela delivered the heroics with a homer to right center for the 7-5 victory.
