ROME --Â For the second time in as many matches, the Lady Hawks were swept in straight sets; falling to North Alabama 3-0 on the road Tuesday evening.
With the loss, Shorter moves to 9-6 on the season and 3-3 in the GSC; while UNA goes to 15-3 overall and 5-1 in conference play.
To earn the victory, the Lions posted set wins of 25-22, 25-22, and 25-18, respectively.
Tiffani Estep led the Lady Hawks with 10 kills on the night and seven blocks. While,
Kelsi Jones added five kills and three blocks.
Alli Bell posted 16 assists for the game, to go along with 10 from
Tinsley Fain.
On the receiving end,
Cheyenne McLemore posted a team high nine digs; while
Morgan Cleveland and
Annie Homan added seven each.
Shorter will look to get back in the win column Saturday, October 7, as they travel to longtime rival, Lee University, for a 1:00pm start from the Paul Dana Walker Arena in Cleveland, Tenn.
