The No. 6 seeded Lady Hawks will travel to Pensacola, Fla. Tuesday for the first round of the Gulf South Conference Tournament for a quarterfinal match-up with No. 3 seed West Florida. Game time is set for 6:00pm eastern / 5:00pm central.

Making the trip will be three GSC All-Conference selections – two 1st team honorees, and one 2nd Team.

Freshman, Chanel Mosley, earned 1st Team All-Conference after a great first year for Shorter. The defender from Woodstock, Ga. tallied 2 goals, and 1 assist; while also being a strong force in the Lady Hawks defense.
 
Joining Mosley as a 1st Team All-Conference selection is senior, Cintia Lamas. Through 18 games for Shorter, the Sao Paulo, Brazil native tallied 9 points (4 goals and 1 assist), with two goals coming against Georgia Southwestern in Sunday's regular season finale.
 
Freshman, Corrie Thomas, was the Lady Hawks only 2nd Team All-Conference selection. Thomas led Shorter in goals on the season with 7; starting each of the Lady Hawks 18 games. Her 6 game winning goals on the season ranks second best in the GSC.
 
The Lady Hawks, whose season has been one for the record books look to keep the trend going by adding a GSC Tournament win to the list. In the first meeting of the teams, on October 5th, Shorter came up just short; falling to the Argos 2-1 at home.
