With the Gulf South Conference Tournament quarterfinal game set for Tuesday evening against West Florida at Ben Brady Field the Hawks will enter as the conference's No. 4 seed and with three All-Conference selections in tow.
Freshman,
Charlie Dennis, led Shorter in postseason recognition; earning GSC Freshman of the Year honors, as well as being named 1st Team All-GSC. The midfielder from Brighton, England enjoyed a productive inaugural season for the Hawks notching 17 points (9 assists and 4 goals) this season. Dennis led the conference and also ranked inside the Top 30 in the nation in total assists.

Joining Dennis as a 1st Team All-GSC selection is senior,
Irvin Espinal. Through 15 games for Shorter, the Juticalpa, Honduras native tallied 16 points (7 goals and 2 assists).

Robert Ochieng, was the Hawks only 2nd Team All-GSC selection. In 17 games for Shorter, the midfielder tallied 3 goals and 2 assists.

The Hawks hope that the home luck continues Tuesday against West Florida, as each of Shorter's wins this season have come at Ben Brady Field. In the first meeting of the teams this season the Hawks won in thrilling fashion; coming from behind to tie the game late and earning the win on header by Esipnal in the second overtime period.
