ROME—
Shorter women's soccer fell to the Chargers of Alabama Huntsville, 3-2, Wednesday evening at home.

The loss drops the Lady Hawks to 2-5 on the season, and 0-1 in Gulf South Conference play.

Shorter got on the board first as Aline Tamiosso scored her first goal of the game at the 21:43 mark. The score would stand through the first half as the Lady Hawks led the Chargers 1-0 going into the intermission.

Once play resumed Shorter was quick to add to their lead, as Tamiosso found the back of the net once again on a feed from Helena Farinha in less than four minutes of play into the second half.
