Waleska, Ga.--Despite outshooting Reinhardt 21-10, the Lady Hawks needed overtime to seal the deal this afternoon; defeating the Lady Eagles 1-0.
With the win, Shorter improves to 3-5 on the season; while Reinhardt moves to 8-2 overall.
The game remained scoreless through regulation to force the overtime period for the Lady Hawks. However,
Aline Tamiosso came through in the 99th minute to give Shorter the victory.
Tamiosso not only recorded the winning goal, but also recorded as many shots as the whole Reinhardt team combined; coming away with 10 of the Lady Hawks 21 on the day.
Cintia Lamas recorded four shots and one assist in the game.

Taylor Hays played the complete game for the Lady Hawks, making four saves over the 99:09 minutes of play. Taylor Asher recorded seven saves while playing the complete game for the Lady Eagles.
Shorter will be back in action Saturday afternoon at 2:00pm as they return home to take on Gulf South Conference foe, West Georgia, at Ben Brady Field.
