Appearing in only 23 sets Sarah recorded 4 digs on the season.

She was also named to the Gulf South Conference Honor Roll and Dean's List.

2012
Armstrong appeared in 8 sets for the Lady Hawks, and recorded 8 digs during 2012.
 
High School
A 2012 graduate of Decatur Heritage Christian Academy Sarah played four years on the varsity team. She was named all state honorable mention 2009; all regional team 2009 and 2011; all area team 2009, 2010, and 2011; and all county team 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011.  She was chosen for the Decatur Daily Team, 2009, 2010,and 2011, and the Huntsville Times Team 2009, 2010, 2011. She received high school offensive award, 2009, 2010, and 2011. She was high school team captain her junior and senior years. Her club experiences include: NASA 2008-2009; 2011-2012, Quest 2009-2010 and Smith Lake Juniors 2010-2011
 
Personal
Sarah was born on March 17, 1994, in Athens, AL to parents Patrick and Paula Armstrong. She has two brothers Zachary and Noah. Sarah is a Nursing major and hopes to become a CRNA. She enjoys shopping, reading, and spending time with her sorority sisters.
