Naomi Posada Sullivan

Naomi Sullivan enters her fourth season in 2023 as the Head Coach for the Shorter University Volleyball Program.

During her time at Shorter, Shorter Volleyball went from a 2-9 record to a 17-15 overall record placing 4th in conference in 2022 and maintained a .500 record in 2023 making it to the GSC Playoffs for the 3rd time in a row. Prior to being hired, Sullivan served on staff as a Volunteer Assistant coach for Georgia Southern Volleyball after spending almost two years as the program's Graduate Assistant coach. Following graduation, Sullivan became the Assistant Coach for the Brewton-Parker women's volleyball team as well as assisted the first men's program in the school's history in the 2017-2018 season. She played both volleyball and softball at Midland College for two years and was named defensive/offensive MVP in softball and won the Lady Chap award. She continued her volleyball career at Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga, Tenn., for one season where she won the Crusader Award, led the conference in digs, ranked 3rd in overall kills, and went to Nationals for the first time in School History. Sullivan earned her master’s degree in Kinesiology with coaching emphasis at Georgia Southern University. Born on April 14 in her hometown of Midland., TX. She is married to Collin Sullivan. Her favorite bible verse is 1 Corinthians 10:24.
