Shorter University Athletics

Olivia Bloemke enters her fifth season with the Shorter University Women’s Soccer program, and her fourth as the head coach. She began her coaching career at Shorter in 2016 and has helped the program advance in the Gulf South Conference rankings each season. In 2018, Bloemke was named the Senior Woman Administrator for the SU athletic department.

Before arriving at Shorter, Coach Bloemke earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and master’s degree in Sport & Exercise Psychology at Florida State University.  During her master’s program, Bloemke was able to work with a wide variety of athletes and observe highly experienced collegiate coaches. These experiences greatly influence her coaching style and passion to connect and influence every athlete she comes in contact with.

From 2010-2011, Bloemke played two seasons at Rollins College in Winter Park, FL until a season-ending injury ultimately influenced the decision to strictly pursue her education.
