Biography
College Career: Maggie Peeples appeared in 21 games as a freshman, starting four…..scoring 49 points and securing 20 rebounds for the season…….went 8 for 8 from FT line for the season……hit the go-ahead 3-point shot late in a win over Clark Atlanta on November 26, 2012. As a sophomore Maggie appeared in all 26 games with 8 starts….averaged 13.4 minutes per game while shooting 38% from three…finished the season scoring a total of 91 points with a career high of 14 points against Valdosta State.
High School Career: Graduated from Christian Heritage High School in Dalton, GA where she scored over 2,000 points… Dalton Daily Citizen All Area Player of the Year her senior year… led the team in scoring, assists, and steals….Lady Lions advanced to the state play-offs five straight years with Maggie on the varsity squad and during that span, she made the GISA All-Region Team and All-State Team each year…..played AAU basketball with the Georgia Metros and Dalton Fire.
Personal: Born on May 20, 1993… daughter of Mike and Lisa Peeples… has two siblings, brother Scott and sister Alex… majoring in Sports Management.
