Former Lady Hawks’ hoops standout Kristin Nash begins her first season as a graduate assistant on Shorter’s women’s basketball staff.
Nash prepped at Dunwoody High School where she played for her mother Angela Nash.
Collegiately, Nash transferred to Shorter from NCAA Division I Belmont University in 2011 and immediately emerged as one of the Lady Hawks’ most versatile players.
At Shorter, Nash averaged double figures for her career and played in all but one of 56 possible games. Nash scored 566 points in her Lady Hawks’ tenure, and was voted by her teammates at the end of her senior season in 2014 as team captain and Lady Hawk
Award recipient.
