Shorter University Athletics

Delisa Madry is in her third season at Shorter, second season as an Assistant.

She was a graduate assistant in 2017-2018 and completed her MBA in Sports Management.

Delisa graduated from the University of North Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Health, Physical Education, and Recreation with a concentration in Exercise Science in May 2015. She was a four-year letter winner as part of the Women’s basketball program. As a student-athlete, Delisa was the vice president of SAAC, involved in various community service activities, and was a scholar athlete during Spring 2014 & Spring 2015. 

Madry is a 2011 graduate of Austin High School in Decatur, AL. The Decatur native played under the direction of Bruce Hamilton at 6A powerhouse. She was two-time Class 6A Area 15 All-Area 1st team, All-Tournament team in Huntsville Times and Decatur Orthopedics tournaments and was selected to play in the North/South All-Star game in 2010.
