-Reached the State’s semifinals twice, in 2011 and 2012.
-Named by the Gwinnett Daily Post his freshman and sophomore year as a key newcomer to the team.
-Senior captain for his team, and the leading goal scorer
-GA First team all-region in 8AAAAAA (2013)
-Third team all-county (2013)

Sammy has helped his Mom raised funds for an organization in South America for a number of years, which works with single mothers and their kids.  This organization train the mothers so they can get steady jobs as well as providing food, shelter and elementary education for their kids. He has also volunteered with the St. Vincent De Paul foundation receiving donations and helping organized boxes and other items people bring into the donating center
