Charles Warner embarks on his eighth season as an assistant coach with the Shorter University men’s basketball program in 2011-12.

Charles, a fourth generation Roman, is the father of head coach Chad Warner, and is a retired insurance agent and owner of Charles Warner Insurance Agency.

Charles graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Marketing, and also attended Shorter University for a semester in 1967. Charles’ mother (Chad’s grandmother) is a 1934 graduate of Shorter University.
