Saw action along the offensive line during his freshman season... Earned a start on the offensive front at West Georgia... Continued to develop as a member of the Hawks' offensive line.

Attended West Blocton High School, where he played under head coach Dremail King... Was a two-time All-Region selection... Earned Class 4A All-State Honorable Mention recognition.
