Biography

Prior to Shorter: 
  • Redshirted for Murray State during the 2021 season. 
  • Played for West Florida from 2022-2024. 
  • Appeared in six games for UWF, going 7-13 with 60 passing yards while also having five rush attempts for 12 yards. 
High School: 
  • Played at Southside High School. 
  • Played key role in helping Southside qualify for 2020 Class 6A playoffs
  • Was 140-for-238 passing in his senior season for 2,375 yards and 16 TD. 
  • Rushed for an additional 339 yards and nine TD on 69 carries.
Personal: 
  • From Gadsen, Alabama. 
  • Son of Michael and Cindy Rich. 
  • Chose Shorter because of Revelation 3:7-8.
