HIGH SCHOOL
Attended Rome High School, where he played under head coach John Reid... Earned First Team All-Region honors as a kicker... Converted 74-of-77 PAT attempts and recorded 30 touchbacks... Connected on a season-long 47-yard field goal... Helped Rome advance to the state semifinals.

Son of Maribel Reyes and Leonardo Cruz... Has one brother, Leo Cruz-Reyes, and one sister, Evelyne Cruz-Reyes... Chose Shorter because of its proximity to home and the welcoming and friendly atmosphere within the football program.
