Shorter University Athletics

Jordan Boatright enters his first season as the offensive line coach at Shorter University in 2019.
 
Boatright comes from Durant High School in Plant City, FL. While coaching at Durant he worked with several offensive units over his four-year stint including wide receivers, tight ends, and the offensive line.
He took over the offense as coordinator for the 2018 season implementing various spread concepts with a diverse run game.
 
As a player, Boatright was starter on the offensive line for the first ever SoCon Conference Championship team at Samford University and the Bulldogs first FCS playoff berth since 1991. He was named all-conference as a senior and received the team’s individual leadership award, the Bobby Bowden Leadership Award. Boatright earned a bachelor’s degree in history and a minor in geography from Samford.

Boatright is native to Georgia and played at Peachtree Ridge High School in Gwinnett County.

Boatright and his wife, Arianna, welcomed their first child Finley on March 1^st, 2019.
