Coach Brandon White joins the Shorter University football staff as the Defensive Line Coach after serving as the Defensive Line Coach at LaGrange College. He brings over two years of collegiate football experience and six years of high school experience.
White has been a part of many successful programs as a player and coach. Becoming Gulf South Football Conference in 2010 and NCAA D2 Football National Champion in 2012. He has also been instrumental in building winning programs including multiple playoff appearances at Adairsville High, assisting Charles Drew High to a Quarterfinal appearance while setting school and state records. Also coaching many All-Region, All-State & All-Conference players.
As the Defensive Line Coach in 2019, White unit led cur their Rush YPG given in half in just one season. As Defensive Tackle Joe Thomas was named All-USA South team and is considered one of D3 top interior DL. The entire Defense led the USA South conference with 21 forced turnovers.
Before his tenure at LaGrange College, White spent six seasons at the High School Level coaching various Offensive Positions. Most notably the Quarterback position, where during his tenure he coached two different All-State QB’s, four different All-Region QB & WR’s honors, and an All-State RB. During this stint, there were five out of six winning seasons, multiple playoff appearances, one AAAAA quarterfinal playoff appearance, and multiple state records.

White is a native of Atlanta, Georgia, and is a graduate of Redan High school. White was a two-sport athlete. Where he earned All-City, All-Region & All-State honors in football and All-Region honors in baseball.
White was a Linebacker at Valdosta State University, where he earned four varsity letters on the Blazer’s football team. In 2012, White was an integral part of the NCAA Division II National Champion football squad. He received his Bachelor’s in Science of Health & Physical Education. He also earned his Masters of Curriculum & Instruction at LaGrange College.
