Biography

2012: Turned in a career-best season becoming the key cog in the Hawks’ run game…Carried the ball 188 times for a GSC-leading 1,021 yards and nine touchdowns…Became just the second player in Hawks’ history to surpass the 1,000-yard mark, joining former All-American A.J. Cooley…Averaged 5.4 yards a carry and 92.8 yards a game…Rushed for more than 100 yards in six games…Made his first start a memorable one rushing for 111 yards and scoring two touchdowns, including a 61-yarder that sealed Shorter’s 31-20 season-opening win over Campbell University…Caught three passes for 49 yards…Named to the GSC’s Fall 2012 Academic Honor Roll.
2011: Saw action in four games in a reserve role…Rushed for 83 yards on seven carries, his longest going for 27 yards.
2010: Played in seven games as a freshman, carrying the ball six times for 19 yards.
