Attended Tattnall Square Academy, where he played under head coach Barney Hester... Earned All-Region honors during both his junior and senior seasons.

Son of Beth and Scott Brown... Has one brother, Carter... Chose Shorter because of the family atmosphere and welcoming community, as well as the opportunity to grow academically, athletically and in his faith as part of a strong Christian community.
