Dena appeared in 138 sets last season, led the team in Assists with 851, and recorded 349 digs.
She was named to NCCAA 2nd Team All-Region
2012
Appearing in 124 sets for Shorter, Peirce recorded 215 digs during her first season with the Lady Hawks.
High School
Dena attended Madison County in Gurley, Alabama, where she was a four year varsity letter. She was named to the All-State first team 2011, All-State second team 2010, and The Huntsville Times All-Elite second team honorable mention 2010. She led her team to an appearance in the state championship her senior year.
Personal
Born on November 4, 1993 in Huntsville, Alabama. Her parents are Joey and Laurie Pierce. She has two sisters, Gabby(18) and Lindsay(14) and one brother, Jordan(13). She plans to major in CIS. Her hobby is hanging out with friends and family.
