BELMONT, N.C.- The Shorter Men's Lacrosse team suffered a 35-2 defeat at the hands of Belmont Abbey Saturday afternoon. The loss drops the Hawks to 0-12 and 0-7 in conference.
The Crusaders came out of the gates swinging, scoring the first 16 goals of the contest. Belmont Abbey continued to dominate the rest of the way, as
Watson Hawthorne and
Elijah Hunt managed to score the lone two goals for the Hawks as they fell in a 35-2 defeat.
UP NEXT
The Hawks will face Emmanuel next Tuesday for their season finale at 7:00 PM.
