ROME, Ga.- The Shorter women's tennis team dropped a 7–0 decision to UNK on Tuesday.
The Hawks showed resilience in doubles play but were unable to secure the opening point. In singles competition, Shorter continued to battle throughout the lineup. Sharick Güiza pushed her match to a super tiebreak but ultimately fell 10–6, while Laura Martin also fought in a tightly contested match that came up just short of earning a point for the Hawks.
