ROME- The Shorter Women's Tennis team cruised to a 7-0 victory over Oglethorpe Monday afternoon. 

Sharick Guiza Hernandez and Laura Martin got the Hawks started with a 6-1 win over their opponents. Lady-Ester Villanueva Rosado and Sofia Arellano dominated their opposition with a clean 6-0 sweep that was followed by another 6-0 win from Caroline Johnson and Danielle Hernandez to help the Hawks claim the doubles point. 

The dominance continued in singles as Sharick Guiza Hernandez blanked her opponent 6-0, 6-0. The Hawks continued to cruise, as Sofia Arellano shut out her opponent as well. Laura Martin earned the 6-1, 6-1 win as Lady-Ester Villanueva Rosado crushed her opponent 6-0, 6-0. Danielle Hernandez and Caroline Johnson put the finishing touches on the match, with Hernandez earning the 6-4, 6-0 win and Johnson delivering the 6-0, 6-0 win.
