ROME, Ga. –The Shorter Women's Soccer team dropped their final home match of the season Wednesday night to Southern Wesleyan in a 3-0 defeat at Ben Brady Field. 
  
The Hawks' defense stood firm early, as they faced a flurry of shots from the Warriors. Shorter managed to create opportunities in the first half, but struggled to convert. The visitors found the net just before the half ended to make it a 1-0 lead. 
The visitors got hot early in the second half, scoring a pair of goals within two minutes of each other. Shorter tried to fight back but could not pair the shots with the goal as they fell in a 3-0 final. 
The Hawks fall to 1-11-2 overall and 0-10-2 in conference play.
