Cleveland, Tennessee - The Lady Hawks Volleyball squad fought hard against the Lady Flames of Lee University, but unfortunately fell short. Shorter went 0 for 3, with scores of 17-25, 17-25, and 23-25, respectively. Despite the loss, the Lady Hawks stayed on trend with edging opponents out in certain statistical categories, putting up 11 blocks. The defensive charge was led by Freshman Alley Cole out of Calhoun, GA, who put up 5 blocks. Caroline Sivills and Caroline Beckmann both had 4 of their own. Mia Alexander posted 10 digs with Claudia Loyola following closely behind with 9. Marysa Ocampo was a top 3 leader in multiple statistics, recording 10 assists, 9 digs, and 1 ace.
