The Shorter Hawks took on the Montevallo Falcons in a GSC battle on Friday. The falcons jumped out to a quick lead, scoring a goal in the first minute of the game. As time was winding down, the falcon's scored again as the 1^st period ended with Shorter down by two. 
The Hawks were on the defensive most of the first period, and during the second, it felt almost identical. Montevallo took control again in the 2^nd and scored back-to-back goals, making it 4-0. The Falcons would keep putting Shorter's goalies to work as they put up another pair of goals, as the final was 6-0.
