Rome, GA. – The Shorter Men's Lacrosse team faced off against the Petrels from Oglethorpe University in Home opener on Wednesday night. The Hawks ended up losing 11-10 in the 4

SUMMARY:
The first quarter was a slow start for Shorter who had one goal from their leading scorer
Jaden Sealey. Oglethorpe went into a first quarter break with a 3-goal lead. In the second half the Hawks came out fighting, going on a 5-0 goal scoring run, taking the lead 6-3.Â

After halftime the Petrels came back swinging leading the quarter 5 goals to the Hawks 3 goals. Going into the final quarter the Hawks still had the lead 9-8. Kaleb Rohen had the final goal of the evening for the Hawks. Hinton had the winning goal for Oglethorpe in the last minutes of the game. Â
