The Shorter Hawks Women's Soccer team fell 2-0 in a hard-fought matchup with the Union University Bulldogs Sunday at Smith Memorial Soccer Complex. 

The Hawks kept pace against the Bulldogs but surrendered a goal the in the 33rd minute of regulation. The Hawks continued to play hard in the second half, but the bulldogs slipped in one last score to seal the contest. 

The Shorter Hawks will host the Delta State University Statesmen on Friday, Sept. 16, at Ben Brady Field.
