In a tough road matchup, the Shorter Hawks Women's Soccer team suffered a 5-0 loss to the Buccaneers of Christian Brothers University Friday night at Signaigo Field.

The Hawks battled hard in the first half but surrendered two goals in the 21st and 44th minutes of regulation play. The Hawks came out in the second half fighting hard, but the Buccaneers struck three more scores to close the contest.

The Shorter Hawks will travel to Jackson, Tennessee, to take on the Union University Bulldogs on Sunday, Sept. 11th, at Smith Memorial Soccer Complex.
