AMERICUS,Ga.-- The Shorter University Hawks, unfortunately, fell 4-0 to the Lions of Georgia Southwestern State University on the road at Hurricane Field.

The Hawks surrendered two goals in the first half of regulation play. The Hawks played hard for 45 more minutes in the second half but surrendered two more goals to the Lions and could not come back.

The Hawks will travel to Anderson, South Carolina, to take on the Trojans of Anderson University on Aug 31st at 5pm.
